The Superman, Kimpoy Feliciano

As I watched the television this afternoon, I saw Kimpoy Feliciano on GMA as he launches his debut album on Party Pilipinas. This young social media heartthrob is surely taking his place into stardom and no wonder he has a long way to go for his career. He did a prod number with some other GMA young heartthrobs like Elmo Magalona, Jake Vargas, Alden Richards, etc.

I felt so lucky, thinking that I've met and styled this guy already. He has the oozing charm and a very great personality. A very humble, down to earth and talented young man. No wonder why thousands of girls are dying to see him and are falling in love with him even only through his social media updates.

There's a funny story behind this styling stint with Kimpoy. I honestly have a Final Exam in Pattern Drafting on the day of this shoot. I've heard a lot about Kimpoy but I never knew what he really does and why is he that popular on the internet. My curiosity led me to accept the stint even though I have a final exam and just has to leave early.

While we are on standby, Ms. Annie and Ayel shares to us stuff about Kimpoy, and there I knew that he is the twitter's Superman. And while the team is having all those chit chats, I was just there on the side busy memorizing my drafts and so eager to push and get through the day.

Until I finally met the super nice guy, The Superman.
It felt like the whole effort in pushing through with the shoot was all worth it. I am so overwhelmed that I am one of the people he has worked with. And as far as I know, we are one of the first people he has worked with since he first got back to Manila again. Yayy!

It was so sad for me to leave the studio early even if the shoot is not over yet, but of course I have other responsibilities to fulfill and I need to move on. Lol

And as the result of my early goodbye, I am not included in the team's group picture with him. But oh well, at least we had a picture together.

It was a truly amazing experience for me, to meet an up shining star before he appeared on different tv shows and launches his very first album.

And hey, there's me with Kimpoy! :)))
And Special thanks to Topman, Sebago and Flying Dutchman!

Living in the Moment

FLORAL x DENIM

Last Tuesday (November 26, 2012), we styled another fashion editorial for Manila Bulletin, featuring the Top 10 Designers / Best in Show for the previous Philippine Fashion Week S/S '13.

The whole Floral x Denim ensemble was a plan by the whole styling team. We decided to go with a matchy - matchy outfits for our group shot and I find it so cool every time we do this. I like the trick of having a designated theme that we have to incorporate it with our own styles. I just find it playful and fun!

As I woke up that morning, I was thinking of what to wear, I had a lot of choices for the denim and floral ensemble, but the edgy side of me took place that day. I probably chose to pair up my sheer floral top with an edgy distressed denim jeans for a reason, and obviously it's because I am off to work for the whole day and the job is not as fab as it sounds like, a lot of movements and rush are about to take place for the day and a comfy yet fashionable get up is the best thing to wear for the whole day errand.

The editorial was out last Friday (November 30, 2012) and I hope you guys did grab a copy!

And as usual, here is what I'm listening right now:

Living in the Moment by Jason Mraz

I just love how Jason Mraz change my mood every time I'm listening to him, and I also love how meaningful and relaxing his songs are.

Have fun reading and listening guys!
Good morning! x

Celebrity Living: Rufa Mae Quinto, Oct Issue

November has finally arrived! And before starting the month, I just wanna share one of the best thrills that I had for the month of October. So, I hope you guys did grab a copy of Celebrity Living Magazine (Oct Issue), because It was an awesome experience for me to be a part of the styling team for the month's cover.

Obviously, we had Ms. Rufa Mae Quinto aka Peachy as our cover girl. It was an honor for me to do another celebrity styling, and of course I would like to thank my lovely mentor Jear De Mc Cuttac for all the opportunities he had given me!

A beautiful home for such a beautiful lady, I can say.
A loft creatively designed for an independent woman with a sophisticated vibe and a cozy aura.

Ms. Rufa on screen is an energetic, jolly and giggly actress. She never fails to make us all laugh. Her Tv shows and movies turned out to be remarkable for all of us. She is truly a happy lady even off screen, every moment was blissful. We had a very tiring yet fun fun shoot!

Her shoe collection which is filled with designer brands like Christian Louboutin, MiuMiu, Gucci, Chanel, Prada, etc. Is my favorite part. I drooled over when I saw all of her shoes and bags as we pick for the shoot's layouts. It is an every girl's dream to have those luxurious shoes and bags that could fill up the stairs.(Oohhh, someday!) Lol

When Polka Turns Edgy

This is what I wore yesterday for our another Manila Bulletin editorial shoot. We had a very long day of shoot with 4 different kinds of editorials. We luckily had a chance to take some outfit shots right after our sets. Thanks to Kaye Awatin for my outfit shots!

Top| Booties| Aviator| Necklace: Forever21❤

I like how my pink polka top turned out to be a bit edgy. The style is so young just like me and I like it!

After our shoot we went to Rockwell to return tons of pulls then chilled at Starbucks with Jear and Kai.
My night hasn't ended there, afterwards I went to my friend's place to continue our Friday night!
